I have only used it twice, once in the center of dining table with 4 around the table. Dining conversation was so improved. The instructions are printed in such a small font that I had to find the instructions online and then print and enlarge each page. Since the majority of people who wear hearing aids are older, thus also having weaker eyesight, the tiny print is a big problem for us. On the unit itself, the buttons to press for different functions are black on black and by necessity quite small, creating another obstacle. It has been so frustrating that I haven’t been able to see if it actually helps.

The thing I was a little disappointed in was the advertised 10 hour battery use per charge. My experience has been closer to five hours. I’ll just adjust my usage accordingly.

I am from Kentucky and when I saw the price on this device I thought it might be a scam, however, after speaking with an agent I purchased the device. The agent was friendly and helpful. The device performed as needed. I travel with tour groups that use a device called a Whisper that uses in-ear headphones connected to a 3.5mm audio jack. I cannot wear the headphones and hearing aids at the same time. I also purchased a Twelve South Airfly that transmits a bluetooth signal from the 3.55mm jack and connects to the Widex Sound Assist. Now I can hear in my hearing aids the travel guide using the Whisper. I highly recommend both Hearing Group and the Widex Sound Assist device.
