Went to change the wax filter and discovered one was not in the box, I did see that a new filter was installed on the new receiver I purchased.
I thought it was unusual that they used one of the new filters in the box I purchased

Thank you for reaching out and leaving a review. I am so sorry you were missing one of your filters. All receivers come with a new filter already installed by the manufacturer. Likely what happened was one of the filters came to lose during shipping, and when you pulled it out, it was not attached. I know that has happened to me when replacing the filters in the office.
