Returns and Refunds Policy

Hearing Group’s Return Policy is stated below:

Return for Refund. All returns must be returned back in the office within 10 days from delivery of the product for a refund. The product must be returned in the same undamaged, packaged condition as shipped. This means, do not send back with tape on the actual product container. It was shipped in a box so you will need to ship it back in a box. Do not apply a label to the product package itself. Please ensure that all items are in the package and there is no visible damage or marks on the items, manuals, cables, or anything else the product was shipped to you with. Products not returned in this condition are only eligible for a 50% refund. Shipping costs on all returns are the customer’s responsibility.

Broken or defective products.  If you receive a broken or defective product upon delivery please contact us at (866) 542-5614 and we will help arrange a replacement and return it at no charge to the customer. Please open and inspect immediately. If the product is defective after two days from the initial delivery posted by the USPS tracking code then the exchange or the repair shipping cost to and from us is the responsibility of the customer.  Hearing Group is happy to facilitate the repair to and from the manufacturer. The cost of shipping a repaired or replaced item from the manufacturer back to the patient is $10.00. Our home office team will contact you for payment when we receive the item back from the manufacturer and is ready to ship back to you.

Please note that receivers have no serial number nor are they tracked by any source so it is important that the receiver is tested and verified immediately upon receipt.  Since receivers do not have a serial number they carry no replacement guarantee or warranty.  If you receive a defective receiver we are happy to replace it within the first 2 days upon receipt.

Product Exchanges. For sanitary purposes, some items are not able to be exchanged. For this reason, it is extremely important that you choose the correct item at the time of initial purchase. Those non-exchangeable items include: face masks, domes, retention locks, slim tubes, drying capsules and dry and store hearing aid cleaners. Exchanges are accepted within 10 days of the delivery of the product. The product must be mailed back to us and be in the office within 10 days of the delivery of the product according to the USPS tracking code. The product must be in the same new condition and packaging as it was delivered. The customer is responsible for the shipping cost of returning the product to the company. Once we get the unwanted product, we will ship the new product.

Nonrefundable items. Some items are not available for refunds such as Hearing Aid Receivers and Hearing Aid Batteries. Hearing aid batteries may not be returned for store credit or refund. For sanitary purposes, Face Mask, Domes, Retention Locks, SlimTubes, drying capsules and Dry and Store Hearing Aid Cleaners may not be returned for credit unless the unit is defective upon delivery and returned immediately. All other products may be returned within 10 days of the delivery date. This means the product needs to be in the office within 10 days from the date of delivery according to the USPS tracking code. Return shipping to Hearing Group is at the expense of the customer. In addition, products returned must contain original packaging and be in a saleable condition.

To return a product, please call us at  (866) 542-5614 to process your return. Once the eligible product is received by the company, the customer will receive a refund within 7 days via a credit to the credit card that was used to pay for the product.
